Grace Christian College offers leadership opportunities to students across the college.
Leaders at Grace Christian College will express faith in Jesus.
Students in Year 12 are encouraged to apply for the role of School Captain. School Captains are in a unique position to influence younger students and promote the Christian values of the college through positive leadership on and off campus.
Two Captains are chosen based on applicants’ Christian character, leadership potential, and commitment to the school, all expressed through a written application.
School Captains serve the school through the modelling of college values, participation in assemblies, chapels, and other events both on and off campus.
GCC also has two Year 6 Captains. Students chosen as Year 6 Captains will be positive role models to younger primary students.
Applicants are selected by their character, behaviour, and leadership skills.

GCC selects two Year 9-10 students from each of our community houses, Wycliffe and Tyndale, as Community House Captains.
House Captaincy is an opportunity for students to develop leadership skills and contribute to our college community in a positive way. Students, seeking to honour Christ through positive leadership, must learn and display commitment, good communication skills, thinking skills, and creativity.
In the role of House Captain, students will model the school values of “Help, Encourage, Respect” through their participation in internal and external sporting and community activities.
In 2026, GCC is reintroducing the Student Council. The Council will consist of one student from each year level from Years 3-12.
